The airline postpones the start of operations to Germany from Ridolfi airport
Forlì - Verona, November 9, 2020 – Following the latest dispositions by the Institutions for the containment of contagion from Covid-19, Air Dolomiti, the Italian airline of Lufthansa Group and F.A. s.r.l., with regret announce the postponing of flights from Forlì “Luigi Ridolfi” airport to Munich scheduled for December 1, 2020.
The decision comes after a careful evaluation and is due to the tightening of travel restrictions worldwide, which requires maximum caution in travel, allowed only if strictly necessary. This overall situation is not allowing the travel demand, although present in the catchment area, to express itself fully, imposing a postponement in the start of operations.
It is currently not possible to predict the evolution of the health emergency and the precautionary measures that will be implemented by the governments of the countries involved with regard to travel notices, entry bans and entry blocks. Nevertheless, Air Dolomiti confirms its interest in departing as soon as possible with new flights to Munich, considering Forlì a strategic connection and part of a plan to expand the offer on the German hub where the choice among the international prosecutions proposed by the Lufthansa network is extended.
