Below you will find an overview of our rebooking regulations in the case of voluntary and involuntary reasons.
One or more flights of your journey have been cancelled by the airline before departure: Air Dolomiti will automatically and proactively rebook you on an alternative flight to the same destination and in the same travel class free of charge. In some cases, Air Dolomiti may not be able to proactively re-book you on an alternative flight. In these cases, you can select an alternative yourself according to certain specifications. This is also possible if an alternative automatically booked by Air Dolomiti does not fit into your plans. The re-booking must be made within the validity period of the ticket (usually one year from the original departure date). To do this, please contact our Customer Service or your travel agent as soon as possible.
Your flight was not cancelled by the airline, but you still wish to rebook: most of our fares can be rebooked (some with a penalty fee) - please consider Economy Basic, Business Comfort and Business Comfort Green does not permit rebooking. Due to fare differences, an additional payment for a higher fare may be required. Rebooking must be done before the originally scheduled travel date. You can make your rebooking easily and quickly on your own in the Manage my Booking section or by contacting our Customer Service or your travel agent.
One or more flights of your trip are cancelled: If you hold an Air Dolomiti ticket (101-...) that includes a cancelled flight and you have not yet submitted your ticket for a refund, please contact our Customer Service or your travel agent.
If your ticket is still unused, the ticket price including all taxes and charges will be refunded to the original means of payment.
If you have already used one or more legs of your journey, the unused portion of the fare value, taxes and charges will be calculated and the ticket will be refunded proportionately accordingly.
Your flight is not cancelled: Refunds are possible according to the fare conditions. The restrictions regarding refundability of the purchased fare apply. Depending on the fare conditions and any legs of the ticket used, the refund value of the fare, taxes and fees will be calculated and refunded to the original means of payment.
You can cancel your trip and request a refund under the Manage my Booking section or contacting our Customer Service.
For tickets booked through a travel agent, we recommend that you contact that agent. If you do not receive a timely response or it seems necessary for other reasons, please contact us again for further processing.
If the ticket includes several routes, they must be used in the sequential order stated. A passenger who misses the first flight or does not use the first leg of the ticket for any reason, but wishes to take advantage of the next flight (in the case of a multi- trip) or the return flight (in the case of a round trip) initially booked with the same fare, must inform Air Dolomiti within 24 hours of the departure of the unused flight by contacting customer service at the telephone numbers or email address available on the carrier's website at the page Support and Contacts - Customer Relations.
If the departure time of the next or return flight is within 24 hours of the departure of the unused first flight or outbound flight, this notification must be received at least 2 hours before the departure of the subsequent flight or return flight. If such notification is not provided, Air Dolomiti reserves the right, subject to the actual availability of seats, to charge the difference between the original Fare and the highest fare applicable in the same class of travel at the time of re-issuance of the ticket.
In case of illness with a prognosis of more than 30 days or for which the flight at high altitude represents a danger for the passenger, the refund of the ticket can be authorised by the company doctor after the medical documentation has been assessed. For privacy reasons, the request must only be sent to Dr. Alessandro Olivieri ([email protected]).
No, name changes are not allowed.
If a minor mistake was made when entering the name of one or more passengers on the booking, for example a wrong or missing letter and/or the omission of a passenger's second or third given name or surname, you can contact our Customer Service, which will consider authorising the correction free of charge, provided that the change clearly applies only to the ticket holder.
