Jersey Airport

Located in the western part of the island, Jersey Airport (JER) is a small efficient airport which over one and a half million travellers pass through each year. Located in the west of the island, Jersey Airport is just 15-20 minutes from the centre of Saint Helier, the capital of the island.

The distance, approximately 7.5 km, can be travelled by taxi - the taxi rank is located in the area in front of the arrivals area of the airport terminal. The cost of the ride is approximately £15, but may vary according to the timetable of the service. For those who prefer to use public transport, you can travel on bus numbers 9, 15 and 22 and reach the city in about 25 minutes at a cost of £2.70 for those paying in cash and £2.25 for those who pay by system contactless. For passengers under the age of 15 the cost of the ticket is £1.30.

Those who have planned a tour of the island independently can rent a car at Jersey airport: the main company desks are located in the arrivals area and offer rental vehicles at advantageous conditions; it is advisable to book well advance.

Jersey Airport offers many services for passengers. Inside the airport there is a restaurant service with hot food and a cafeteria, a post office and a currency exchange office, and a duty-free shopping area. There are also services intended for passengers who need special assistance.
