Bologna Airport
The Bologna Marconi Airport is one of the most important airports in Italy in terms of number of passengers and international destinations. The city centre of Bologna is 6 km from the airport and can be reached by shuttle bus in about 20 minutes. Coaches also provide a service to the main surrounding cities such as Ferrara, Modena, Cervia, Ravenna and Siena. The airport can be reached by car on motorway A1 by taking the Bologna Borgo Panigale exit, on motorway A13 by taking the Bologna Arcoveggio exit and on motorway A14 by taking the Bologna San Lazzaro exit. For those arriving on the bypass (tangenziale) in either direction, take exit 4 bis.
