Named "Langhe and Sea Alps Airport" (Aeroporto Langhe e Alpi del Mare), the Cuneo-Levaldigi airport (CUF) s the Italian airport located at the highest altitude. It is located in the locality of Levaldigi, which belongs to the municipality of Savigliano, about 20 km from the city center of Cuneo. Easily reachable from Liguria and Piedmont, having a very favorable geographical position and its proximity to the main tourist attractions - Ligurian coast and Piedmont mountains - it is an ideal destination to reach north-western Italy. The airport is, in fact, about 40 km from Alba, 65 km from Turin and 140 km from Genoa.
It is possible to reach Cuneo airport by train from Turin via a shuttle link that connects the airport to Fossano railway station, from where trains depart twice an hour for the Piedmontese capital. A direct bus connection to Turin is also available, managed by BMC, connectingTurin Lingotto-Savignano and Fossano. Another option are and car rental, chauffeur and taxi services, with rides of approximately 25 minutes.
Cuneo’s airport has a car parking with 400 uncovered parking lots, in front of the terminal, which also has 6 parking spaces reserved for handicaped, and the possibility of issuing season tickets and special rates.
