The Quality Service delivered by Air Dolomiti is well known in the own trade market as proven by the number of international awards, excellent feedback. The most recent are:
2007
- "Silver Mercury Award "
Awarded by ITCA (International Travel Catering Association), for the events on board concerning the project "Sulle Ali della Musica", organised in collaboration with the Arena Foundation. The award is important as it proves how a local and regional project has succeeded in asserting itself in the field of international air transport: our airplanes are now named after works written by some of the most important Italian musicians and throughout 2006 we entertained our passengers by offering recipes of regional traditions that the musicians belonged to.
- "Skytrax: Best Regional Airline in Europe"
Air Dolomiti has been awarded as 'Best Regional Airline in Europe' by Skytrax, the annual survey conducted with millions of passengers. Air Dolomiti has been recognized for the total quality delivered and especially the refined and original in-flight service.
2008
- "Business Traveller Award"
Air Dolomiti is awarded as best European airline in terms of inflight product.
- "Travelchannel.de"
It is the German online travel agency that awarded Air Dolomiti as the Best Airline in terms of Inflight Service. The Airline was also recognized as second best in terms of Inflight Comfort.
2010
- "Business Traveller Award"
15 January: the award assigned by German magazine Business Traveller for Air Dolomiti on-board service quality and flight attendants. Our Airline took third place behind Swiss and Austrian. Business Traveller is the magazine dealing with tourism and travel with a special focus on business passengers and their requirements.
2011
- "Business Traveller Award"
14 January: the Airline came third in two sections of the "cabin crew and inflight service" and "food and drink" airline categories. Air Dolomiti, then, is among the best airlines operating in Europe. The Business Traveller Award is confirmation which comes directly from passengers and which recognises the desire of Air Dolomiti to involve their guests on board in unique and original experiences, thanks to special events proposed throughout the year.
CERTIFICATION
ISO 9001/Vision 2000 Certification
Air Dolomiti not only complies with all specific standards required for airlines, but in 2000 it was awarded certification for Global Quality to UNI EN ISO 9001 Standards by "Det Norske Veritas" . This certification covers the widest range of services ever granted to an airline anywhere in the world as it includes design, planning and supply of services.
In January 2007 the certification was expanded to the maintenance: an important goal for Air Dolomiti that proves to operate regards the strong standard of Det Norske Veritas. The certification has been reconfirmed in 2009, 2011 and May 2012.
IOSA certification
Air Dolomiti was awarded IOSA (International Operations Standard Audit) certification, which currently represents the most important quality assurance recognition in the sector. The certification has been reconfirmed in July 2011 and Air Dolomiti was able to prove it has a structure that is capable of guaranteeing the high levels required by IATA (International Air Transport Association) regarding the operational departments and the quality control operations. The certification meant for Air Dolomiti an enormous satisfaction for this young and niche market company, which proudly boasts certification worthy of any major corporation. IOSA certification is also an additional certainty for all passengers that choose Air Dolomiti as their travel carrier.
